New albums on the way from Jay-Z, Whitney, and Mariah Carey

Jay-Z has set a release date for his new album "The BluePrint 3".

It will drop on September 11th via Warner Bros. Records. The new LP will be released on the eight year anniversary of the the first Blueprint album and the 9/11 attacks.

Whitney Houston's 'comeback' album has also been given an official release date. The as-yet-untitled set is to hit stores on September 1st via Clive Davis' J Records.

The rumored frst single will be called first single 'I Didn't Know My Strength'.

And Mimi's new disc "Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel" hits stores on September 18th.

She's poppin out albums like crazy, I hope this is more like Emancipation and less like the E=Mess squared.
