Star Tidbits: Usher to kick off football season...
According to billboard.com: Usher and Keith Urban will help ring in the 2008 NFL season with a free Sept. 4 concert at New York's Columbus Circle. Highlights will be sprinkled across the NFL Network, NFL.com and Sprint's NFL Mobile Live. NBC will also air footage the following day.The Sept. 4 show will lead into the NFL season opener between the Super Bowl champion New York Giants and the Washington Redskins at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
