“A woman who accused actor-screenwriter Tyler Perry of stealing material from her play for his blockbuster movie “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” has lost her federal lawsuit against the entertainer. The Marshall News Messenger reports jurors found Tuesday that Donna West did not present evidence that supported her claim of copyright infringement.West argued that Perry lifted material from a script she wrote titled “Fantasy of a Black Woman.” She asked that her family be awarded all the profits made from Perry’s 2005 film. The movie earned some $50 million. Perry insisted that his screenplay is an original work.”

Paula Abdul is claiming the Fox network and "American Idol" producers knew Paula Goodspeed had stalked her, and allowed the woman to audition for the show anyway. Goodspeed was found dead of an apparent suicide in a car near Abdul's home last month.

"I said this girl is a stalker of mine and please do not let her in,….It's fun for them to cause me stress. This was something that would make good television.," Abdul said Monday during an interview with Barbara Walters on her Sirius XM radio show.
XWhen Walters asked why Abdul remains on a show that put her in peril, Abdul replied: "I'm under contract."

And Lauren London, aka cheerleader Christina Worthy from 90210, will play a bisexual character in an upcoming episode of the hit CW show, according to TV Guide. When 90210 returns with new episodes on Jan. 6, Christina gets a girlfriend. Her character is described as being bisexual as in the Nov. 18 episode, Christina flirted with Dixon (Tristan Wilds) during the Spirit Dinner and then again at the lacrosse game.
