The Hollywood Foreign Press Asscoiation has announced the nominees for the 2008 Golden Globe Awards yesterday. A couple of our favorites will be attending the award show in hopes of bringing home a statue:
X
The 2008 TV adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun starring Diddy and others was nominated for Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Congrats to them

And Beyonce (along with the other writers/composers of the song) was nominated for Best Original song for “Once in a Lifetime” from the Cadillac Records Soundtrack.
X

This was the only nod the film got. (Womp,Womp).

Cadillac Records was not the only film Industry experts were surprised to get snubbed. The Dark Knight was only nominated for one award (the late Heath Ledger for Best supporting actor).
X
Sex and the City which banked 153 million at the box office received no nominations either.
X
And The Secret Life of Bees was also left out of the running with zero nods.

Looks like Hollywood Foreign Press has been sleeping in the theaters instead of watching....You can get the full list of nominations HERE.

I don't know why you though Beyonce was going to get a best actress award. It will be a cold day in hell. Jennifer Hudson should have got one for Secrte Life of Bees though.
