She graces the pages of the Fashion Rocks magazine in a classic black and white Armani pantsuit (reminds me of the sugar mamma video).
Other acts performing on the big night are Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and the Black Eyed Peas.
Speaking of the Black Eyed Peas...Fergie has a new movie in the works where she plays a hooker.
The Grammy award winner has been cast as Saraghina in "Nine," a big-screen adaptation of the Tony-winning musical. She will perform the saucy song "Be Italian" with Guido (Daniel Day-Lewis).
Fergies told the Associated Press: "She's basically a prostitute on the beach...She introduces him to the world of sexuality. It's a very strong song. I'm just thrilled I get to play a character. I'm singing, but I'm not singing as myself. I'm going to be singing as a character, and that's what's really exciting to me."
Other stars in the film include Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench and Kate Hudson and its directed by Rob Marshall ("Chicago"). Filming is set to begin in October.
She was in Las Vegas on Monday to debut her two new shoe lines at the World Shoe Association show in the Las Vegas Convention Center. She is in the studio now working on a new album with the Black Eyed Peas.
Solange will not be performing at Fashion Rocks but she is following in her big sisters footsteps in another way. According to vougue she has been named the new muse for Armani Jeans. Beyonce is no stranger to Armani creation, so it seems something of a perfect fit that Solange Knowles has just been named as an ambassador for the designer's younger diffusion line, Armani Jeans.
"Armani Jeans expresses my vision of a young, independent, casual lifestyle with a strong and cool, fashion sensibility. Solange epitomises this style perfectly and brings to it that swing so evident in her new single, I Decided," Giorgio Armani commented on his newest muse.
The profile-boosting partnership couldn't come at a better time for Solange, whose second album, SoL-AngeL and the Hadley Street Dreams (from which I Decided is taken), is released on August 26 prior to her embarking on a worldwide tour this autumn.
Last night Bravo showed a sneak peak of their new show Real Housewives of Atlanta. I had a chance to see it and it looks like its definately going to be worth watching. If you like huge houses, drama, fashion, drama, football, drama, and the privileged lifestyle (did I mention drama) you will want to tune in.
If you missed it last night you can watch it here, or check your local listings for a repeat.
